You mean like when Ninja Theory, developper of Heavenly Sword, a PS3-exclusive game, decided to go multiplatform after they felt were disappointing sales, only to develop Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for both the XBOX360 and the PS3, which didn't get them nearly as many sales as their PS3-exclusive title?
Going multiplatform isn't always the way to generate more revenue. Sometimes it's better to develop a system-exclusive game and benefit from the media coverage you get ...
"Miitomo will continue its celebration of The Legend of Zelda with a themed Miitomo Drop game that will give players the chance to win The Legend of Zelda-themed in-app gear for their Mii character"
Wow, way to break the bank there, Nintendo.
LMFAO
Are those people crazy? They're actually shelling out money to preorder a game that hasn't been confirmed and could just about end up as being a rumor proven false?!
I swear, some merchants will stop at nothing to make cash and run away with it. And the poor peeps who forked out 40£/60$ will only have their eyes to cry if/when it is announced there was never gonna be a TES V Skyrim definitive edition...
...LOL, I guess.
They should've rereleased the original Doom games along the new reboot that just recently came out, something akin to what they did on the PS3/XBOX 360 last gen with Doom 3 that had the original games on the same disc, BUT! (and there's a big but here) with the option to play the games with the original Playstation 1-exclusive soundtrack! Seriously, that dark, ambient music played a huge role in me liking the Doom games on PSOne, it was so much better than the PC soundtrack, consistin...
I just hope that's not going to become a trend, or console gaming is finished. People will move away from consoles and go to PC where they'll be able tu fully customize their hardware, and so will game developpers since consoles will become as complicated as PCs, with multiple SKUs of varying power, but none as powerful as the most powerful gaming rigs.
Let's hope Sony and Microsoft are going to understand that that sort of pissing contest won't get us anywhere.
Well, the game is still gonna have night & rain racing, just not dynamic, but it's still kind of a bummer. They're gonna have to impress us with fully revamped destruction models and more than previous gen's 1080p @ 60fps then (like horizontal resolution pushed to real 1920 for ex.), or else I think I can predict this GT Sport could end up being a disappointment both for gamers and for Sony.
WTF, LOL
...people buy that lie?
M$'s F.U.D. is in full force I see
I remember a few years back the Wii supposedly attracted cockroaches, lol
Anyone gullible enough to believe that crap should have his head examined, seriously
*facepalm*
Either that is true and gamers and gaming just need to die, or that was made up as a ploy to explain their game is going to the xbox one because M$ put a fat cheque on the table.
I laughed at evrything you said, as you try so hard to pass your opinion as facts and even make stuff up with all that second-hand PS games nonsense, and don't get me started on your grammar and punctuation, but the part that takes the cake has to be where you claim the xbox 360 controller was "a much better controller", LOL, it was fat, bulky, didn't have a battery, had a crap D-pad, pearl-shaped buttons that resulted in sore fingers after only a couple hours of play, but t...
You're a troll. The PS3 constantly outshone the xbox360 ever since it was released in 2006 all the way to now, as the PS3 still has some games coming out for it, when the xbox360 has been dead in the water for what seems to be foreverer now. The best new IPs the previous gen were all made for the PS3 (Motorstorm, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Demon's Souls...), the PS3 was the system that kept pushing the envelope technically (Wipeout HD, MAG, Killzone 2 & 3, God of War ...
With all due respect to Mr Ueda and the games he makes (I truly love Ico & Shadow of the Colossus), his games, and most japanese games in general, are far from being the titles that push the envelope the most from a technical point of view. I've learned to take the words from some japanese devs like him, H. Kojima, or K. Yamauchi with a grain of salt when it comes to the technical scope of their games. Remember when Hideo Kojima was trying to explain some of the shortcomings of Metal ...
Impossible, the xbox one market would be too split apart with that big of a difference. That would be a new generation of xbox altogether, and the one wouldńt be able to run the games the scorpio would. I call it bull on that one. Sony's alleged PS4 Neo, if it does exist, is marginally more powerful than the current model, which is why they won't allow any exclusive games to be released on the Neo. Microsoft's Scorpio, however, would be akin to an xbox Two if these rumors are true...
Gotta love how The Order: 1886 gets panned for being supposedly only a great looking-game with, again supposedly, characters that move slowly, yet the whole Gears of War series has always been hailed by the media as being masterpieces with graphics that made you forget about the lacklustre story and dialog, and the utterly sluggish movement of Marcus Phoenix and co., though genuinely akin only to a trailer rig trying to go in backward motion while beeping because it missed its road after a fo...
Someone needs to port Star Citizen and Routine to the PS4/xbox 1.
I wonder if I'll just be able to play that, let alone buy the hardware, without feeling nauseous.
If the majority of the people who try it feel nauseous, and manufacturers and developpers WILL HAVE to make sure people can try it to sell it, virtual reality will be rapidly doomed to failure, or will just prove to be a short-lived fad, much like that 3D with glasses in movies and games around the years 2010-2011.
Who launched that rumor? Michael Pachter?
It's interesting and funny, seeing what route Big N has been going for generations now, but I unfortunately do not believe it's going to be the case. Not for a second.
And they don't have to, either. Really, when it comes to Nintendo, all they have to do is make sure they don't alienate the third-party devs this time around.
They just have to come up with a console as powerful as the PS4, or at least Xbox One (a...
Nice, but you won't have me believe that all it takes to develop a game is one of those kits and you're settled. There's no monitor for a start, so there's gotta be something missing...
I can't even play a 1080p 60fps youtube video on my PC, so remote playing the PS4 won't be for me I suppose.
Actually Mr Howard was the antagonist of the Fatal Fury games, not the king of fighters. He disappeared in the second game Fatal Fury 2, seemingly dead, but came back in Fatal Fury Special with a vengeance, was reported dead again after Fatal Fury 3 but came back in Real Bout Fatal Fury (but this game is considered non canon in the series), and even in Real Bout Special as a dead spirit (!) you could fight against if you had done particularly well, lol
He then came back in Real Bout 2...
I really don't know where you live man, but over here in Europe it's non existent.
I'm not sure if Sony's Virtual Reality, or any similar hardware for that matter, is going to catch on, I dunno, I have a feeling that maybe, just maybe, it may n... nah, will wait. I'll just say this: don't get your hopes up too much guys.
This said, I'm still eagerly waiting to give it a try. The simple fact that "The lawnmower man" or "Disclosure&qu...
